This client (Quarry Rock Wines) who had an existing website needed the hosting and website transferred back to a NZ provider as the previous designer had closed their business and left the country.
Since the original site had been built not only had the vintners changed, but also the laws surrounding selling wine online.
After consulting with Medlicott Design the decision was made to set up the new hosting and build a landing page with contact information for the public while working through building a new website in the background, loading the products and preparing to launch the new site fully once liquor licences have been acquired.
Once the new site is launched it is expected that a bigger part of this project will be teaching the client how to use the WordPress content management system and adding, editing and updating wine products using Woocommerce and then managing that alongside a Social Media presence.
